Imagination, creativity, and the human spirit
I want to write about some of the stories from the Vibe Report that have remained active in my imagination, and share a few things that didn’t make it to the Vibe Report.

First, I am still loving the post that contained the Foam City story… so I thought I would share the link to some of the Foam City photos that showed up on flickr.
Another story that caught my eye recently, which did *not* make it to the VR is this one:
Marriage needn’t mean conjugal living space - April 18, 2008
“in North America and Europe: committed and monogamous long-term relationships, including marriages, in which partners, by circumstance or by choice, maintain separate abodes, make up anywhere between eight and 14 per cent of intimate relationships”
Seems to me that way too many people base their perceptions of reality on what they see on the tube. Life is far richer and more complex that anything that seems to be showing up on prime time these days.
One last found item this week - which may yet show up in the VR:
Photo by - Stumbling in the darkness.
This image is almost startling to me. It seems almost symbolic of so much of what I am trying to capture and thinking about with my web work - the emergence of the human spirit into the world.
This image also highlights the challenges of building and creating on the web. Compared to other art forms like photography - web creation can sometimes seem like sculpting with Legos.
But on the other hand, I guess that’s where the fun comes into play!
